How are we really making plans for July 4th already!?!? 😳 I love that it’s almost here, but I am a beach bum and summer just goes by way too fast. What better way to showcase your patriotic spirit than with a festive DIY floral wreath? This fun and easy project will add a touch of ‘Merica to your home décor and set the perfect tone for your Fourth of July festivities.
Materials You’ll Need:
- Red, white and blue silk flowers
- Picks
- Foam wreath base
- Wire cutters
- Ribbon
I found everything at my local Walmart. Gather all your materials in one place and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
Use wire cutters to trim the stems of the flowers and picks to your desired length. Preparing your materials beforehand will make the crafting process much smoother. Mix and match the red, white, and blue flowers to create a balanced and visually appealing design. Experiment with different placements until you find a layout that you love. Once I figured out how I wanted them placed, I then started poking the stems into the wreath.
Don’t be afraid to get creative and add greenery or other embellishments for extra flair!
No wreath is complete without a festive bow! Cut a length of ribbon and wrap it around the wreath then tie the other end into a bow. Now that your DIY July 4th floral wreath is complete, it’s time to find the perfect spot to display it. Hang it on your front door to welcome guests to your Independence Day celebration, or use it as a centerpiece for your dining table.
Creating a DIY July 4th floral wreath is a fun and easy way to add some festive flair to your home décor.
